Chalk this up as some crazy nonsense! Normally, the NFL will make adjustments to a players' stats on a Monday or Tuesday, but I've never seen them wait until Wednesday night to adjust a players' stats!
So Hakeem Nicks is awarded an extra catch for 23 yards on WEDNESDAY NIGHT!!! And you better believe that this either WON A GAME for some poor sap who thought he lost, or CRUSHED THE LIFE of some gal who thought she just won her first game of the season! Yes, in a PPR league, this adjustment could mean a 3 or 4 point swing, enough to change the outcome of a fantasy matchup!
In fact, a fella I work with was bragging about how he beat one of our co-workers this week by 1 point! He went on to tell me that the guy had the Giants DEFENSE and Nicks... this is on Thursday, mind you. So I told him, "ummmm, you should take another look at the score, my friend". Sure enough, he logged into his league (on ESPN.com), and wouldn't you know it, instead of winning by 1 point, it now showed him losing by 2 points!!!! And even worse, he had already posted a league message, bragging about his ohhhh-so-close win!!!

And the change is updated on NFL.com . If you are in a league that had NOT made this change yet, and it would help you to win your week 2 game, you'd better get on the phone with your League Commish!!!!
