Fantasy Football 2011 News: Week 6 - Wide Receivers to ADD on Waiver Wire

As we head into week 6, there isn't much to add in free agency at the running back position.  Jackie Battle and obviously Torain.  But there are some interesting prospects at the WR position that either WERE or STILL ARE available in your league. Let's have at it.

D. Heyward-Bey (Oak) - We all grabbed for Denarius Moore, and next thing we knew, BAM!!! Good ole DHB has a chance to be the top target in Oakland this year, so he's worth grabbing.

James Jones (GB) - So it's obvious that there are 3 Packers wide receivers worth owning.  Why not take a flier on the #2 WR catching passes from Aaron Rodgers!? Yes, Jordy Nelson is technically the WR3 on the Packers depth chart, eventhough he's also getting a ton of targets!

D. Baldwin (Sea) - consider him W. Welker Light. He's been very productive so far, but watch out because Obomanu is getting action as well.  But Baldwin is clearly worth owning to see if he turns into a Decker-type WR prospect.

S. Breaston (KC) - now that Cassel has his head out of his a$$, Breaston is worth using as a bye week fill-in. I like most WR's who catch 2 TD's in a game, so let's hope that he keeps it up.

Damian Williams (Ten) - the #2 WR for the Titans now that Britt is gone. Everybody went after N. Washington, but there's a chance that with Hasselback, Williams might just break out. If these other guys are gone, he's worth stashing as a WR5 or WR6.

Brandon Gibson (Stl) - a lot of people grabbed Gibson in week 2, but then dropped him in the following weeks. He's worth a look because he is the Rams'  #1 WR, and he's just off to a slow start.

Greg Little (Cle) - he's another one with potential, but we just don't know yet if he'll step up to the plate. He's supposed to be starting for Cleveland in week 6, so grab him JUST IN CASE he turns into somthing special, because he's a big tall physical red-zone threat.  This really depends on McCoy, but I'm not sure he can pull it off, we'll just have to wait and see what he does in week 6!

So these are the wide receivers worth stashing away, in case they turn into gems!
