Fantasy Football 2011: WEEK 5: All You Need to Know

Here's "ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW" as we head into week 5 of the Fantasy Football 2011 season...

- if somebody in your league has Rob Gronkowski AND Wes Welker on their team, you will lose when you play them! (eventhough Gronkowski got shut out in week 4, that likely won't happen much this season).

- if that somebody also has Tom Brady, you should just start your entire bench, you have no shot to win!

- if you picked up Thomas Jones or Dexter McCluster when Jamaal Charles was lost for the season, you made a mistake. You need to find a way to make a trade at this point, as the waiver wire probably doesn't have anybody of value.  Best option, though, is Torain or S. Ridley or Redman.

- if you thought Colston wasn't going to return before week 6, you're surprised to hear that he played in week 4. I held him out of my lineup in week 4, but I'm ready to start him in week 5.

- if you grabbed Eric Decker off the waiver wire, you're being rewarded for it! But I wonder what will happen to him once Tebow inevitably takes over at QB for the Broncos...

- if you grabbed Matthew Stafford as your backup QB, you now realize that he's probably better off as your starter!

- if you picked up Kendall Hunter and started him over Frank Gore last week, you learned that you probably shouldn't listen to these idiot Fantasy Football "experts".  I don't care if Gore is questionable, and I don't care if the 49ers said that Hunter was "Starting" the game, you don't bench Gore in favor of Kendall Hunter unless he's ruled out!!!!

- if Cedric Benson is your RB2, you're wondering when the heck they're going to figure out which games he's going to miss!  He's playing in week 5, but lord only knows which games he'll miss at this point.

- if you're wondering which team will grab Terrell Owens, I have a hunch that it won't be any team at all.  But IF he does get picked up, I'm thinking Titans or Raiders.

- if you were banking on Hightower being one of your starters, you learned that Shanahan likes screwing you over.  Hopefully you were able to add Torain on waivers, but if not... damn that hurts!!!!
